Pokémon Rumble U is a Thing

Erm, admittedly I watched this entire trailer and only processed roughly 7% of what was happening. But it’s a thing that’s titled Pokemon Rumble U, and while it was announced in March WE NOW HAVE MORE DETAILS!

I know, I know. It’s pant-shitting inducing.

The Pokémon Company has announced Pokémon Rumble U will  be available for download in the eShop August 29th for $17.99. You’ll be able to purchase 18 Pokémon figures — although these are apparently optional– at GameStop for $3.99, and all 649 Pokemon (through Black and White 2) will be featured in the game. Players will be able to “jump in and play solo, or with friends, as they accompany your Pokémon heroes on their quest to return to the Pokémon Toy Shop. They will pass through a variety of fun-filled locations, like Sparkly Playland, Mysterious Forest, and Blue Sky Park.” And that, ladies and gentlemen, comes straight from The Pokémon Company’s mouth.

I hate to kick a dead horse and erratically wave my torch around (again), but DAMMIT. Why can’t we be given a console Pokémon game? I mean, I love Pokémon — it was a staple of my childhood, but I’m just not a handheld gamer which means I’ve missed out BIG time on core iterations. Yes, this is my issue, not Nintendo’s or The Pokémon Company’s, but I know I can’t be the only one craving an open-world, uber high-budget, shiny and sexual Pokémon game on the big screen(s). HNNNNNNGHHH just the thought makes my loins tingle.

Anywho, is this something you’re interested in picking up? Let me know!

  1. tingling loins would be sweeter. personally tired of all the random poke games. super polish the handhelds or make a console game.

  2. I would love a console game where I can be a member of Team Rocket and steal choice pokemon from their trainers or from their clans out in the wild. With a nice shiny goal of taking over the region of my choosing. Maybe even compete against other teams like aqua or pokemon poachers or something. All for the approval of Giovanni.
