First, I’d like to thank Juvi for the new header! *hugs* You’re awesomesauce.
For the love of God, someone please tell me how to change the color of the blue tabs. I think IGN may be tweaking a lil or it could just be my n00b self.
So.
Have you played a game that you knew was great, but just couldn’t bring yourself to play it anymore?
I’ve really been trying to play through every game I start. If that means buckling down, gritting my teeth and painfully bearing through it, then so be it. But I may have met my match.
I recently picked up Prince of Persia for the 360. I’ve half the mind to stop playing this game forever…which makes me sad.
This might sound weird, but I know this is a great game. I’m not just saying that because it received stellar reviews. Visually, this game is gorgeous and the platforming aspect of it is wonderful.
But I’m getting bored with it fast. This is due to two main factors:
*I find it repetitive. Go to a corrupted land. Scale obstacles until you reach the bad guy. Defeat said bad guy. Heal the land. Find light seeds. Repeat.
*I hate ‘collect’ missions. Seriously, 1001 light seeds? I know you’re not expected to find them all, but still.
This is the first Prince of Persia game I have ever played. I know this game is dramatically different than the others, and maybe I’ll give those a shot before I come back to this one. But I understand it’s not the game, it’s me (bahaha I feel like I’m breaking up with someone) and what I’m looking for at the moment.
What am I looking for in a game right now? Tall, dark, handsome, about 6′?
I kid, but I think I’m due for an RPG or something, ANYTHING, with an engaging story. Seriously. That’s the only criteria I have. Current gen, last gen, doesn’t matter. I have a buttload of games, however they are all in storage at my parent’s house, so anything I could find on the local rental shelves would be convenient…;D
Suggestions? I have all systems.
Also, I’d like to congratulate Foz on his comeback roast. That was pretty epic and LMAO’d.

Oh, God. The thought of returning to Prince of Persia is absolutely repulsing. So…many…things…to…collect…ENNGGGGGGGH!
Like, that’s all I have to say about that. My desire level for that visually eye-gasm-inducing game at a negative 12.
That being said, I’ve still tried to be a good gamer and finish every game I start. But right now I have Halo 2, inFAMOUS 2 and Arkham City in limbo. I’m telling you, I need to find a sponsor that will pay for the bare minimal of living so I can just game all day. I mean, I’m being reasonable right?
