Welcome to Britt5091: Origins, where I dig up old blog posts I used to write for IGN’s community under the username Britt5091. Some posts may make you giggle, some may make your eyes bleed, and some may make you stroke your beard in a pensive manner. All you need to know is that these posts, no matter how terrible some of them may be, ultimately lead to everything I do now.
Britt5091 Origins: Yay for me!

A quick post. I just completed Modern Warfare. Wh00t! Due to the fact that FPS and I go together like oil and water, it WAS challenging, but I loved it. I really got into the single player campaign and its story. Since it was the first game in the war genre I’ve played since Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, I was really impressed. Which I guess is to be expected.
Of course there were some serious moments when I felt like chucking my controller to hell and back, but hey.
*Spoiler* I was reeeaaallly bummed (I did NOT cry) when Gaz, Griggs and Price bit the bullet (see what I did there?). I understand why they were killed off,I mean C’MON you can’t kill the bad guy AND have everyone survive. You can’t set a controller down with warm and fuzzy feelings after completing a war game. *sigh*
And how am I doing on the multiplayer?
It is B3YOND! emotionally damaging to get pwned by boys that sound like their balls haven’t dropped yet. BUT IT’S SO FUN, er, the gameplay, not the getting pwned part. I’m getting better. My main downfall is I don’t know the maps. I’ll turn a corner and BLAMMO I’m looking down three barrels.
Next game up: Prince of Persia (no, not you Foz) for the 360. I wanted Mass Effect, but yet again that didn’t happen. Long story short I picked up a new copy at Toys R Us for 13 bucks. I haven’t played any Prince of Persia games before, and I’ve heard this one is a lot different from the others. Should be good times.
Speaking of good times…yesterday my dad and I took a few rifles (including an AK-47, my favorite) and went to a gravel pit to blow some stuff up. We took some pics and a few videos, I’ll see if I can get them up here in a few days!
That is all.
CIAO and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Ah, Modern Warfare. I am a sucker and purchased the prestige edition of your sequel, but I have yet to pick up your third installment. I HAVE RESISTED! Although I must admit, an intense FPS sounds preeeeetty good right about now…
I should try Battlefield 3! HA!
Anyway, I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from playing Prince of Persia instead of Mass Effect. GAH! What was I thinking?! The end-story is that I became so annoyed with Prince of Persia and its stupid collecting missions I stopped playing altogether. Good times were not had. The game was easy on the eyes, though.
