Regardless of your opinion surrounding the Wii U, you gotta admit this is a funny and well-made video. GO AHEAD, ADMIT IT. I have time. (Too much time, probably. I think I need another few hundred hobbies.)
So, the Wii U has been out for, what, six months or so? I don’t mean to kick a dead horse here, but I’d be curious to know how many of you are active Wii U users. (LOL. Sounds like I’m asking you to confess your, like, drug habits or something.) Because frankly I haven’t turned mine on since the completion of Brand Spankin’ New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe (that title may have been an exaggeration) but I have to give Nintendo credit, as they’re finally fixing some things that probably should have been, like, incorporated into the console on launch (I’m looking at you, loading times!) and it sounds like a strong lineup is coming…eventually. We know the titles are out there, we just need release dates and more info! I WANNA GET JACKED!!!
Resident Evil: Revelations is coming out next week, and I’ve heard the Wii U has been the platform to get it on (apparently the Gamepad use has been well executed!) so perhaps I’ll be firing up my Wii U soon!
Seriously? The only reason I don’t have one yet is because I don’t have the money to afford it right now, going off to Grad School and all.

I received one for Christmas and I didn’t even open it until this past weekend because I really didn’t have anything to play for it (except Black Ops II) and wasn’t that interested in it in general. So far I like it except the update process makes the PS3 look lightning fast. It took an hour and a half to download the latest system update and then probably another hour to download the updates for the apps like Netflix and Amazon not to mention Black Ops II. Truthfully, the main reason I finally decided to hook it up is because the classic Kirby’s Adventure is on sale for $.30 right now (till the 16th I think). So I have been getting my nostalgia fix the past couple of days with it. I do have some minor complaints about things like button placement and the general size of the game pad as well as loading times but overall it seems like a decent current generation console :P
I hear ya! I think one night I was waiting for ZombiU to download or update or whatever, and it took like two hours. But yeah, I think it’s a decent console as well. I just wish there were more, y’know, games and such. ;)
Bayonetta is the one I’m most excited about.
