THIS IS SO FUCKING AMAZING I WANT TO CRY. IN FACT I HAVE TEARS POOLED IN MY EYES.
All the info you need is in the video above, but in short, the “Resident Evil 2 Remake” project has FINALLY been approved for development. Sadly, we won’t hear anything more on this for “some time” BUT THAT’S OKAY. We’ve waited this long (what, 16 years?) WE CAN WAIT ANOTHER ONE. Or two. But no more than two. I don’t think my body could handle it.
This is so swell, guys. Resident Evil 2 launched my zombie obsession back when I was in elementary school, and although it scarred me for four, five, six years, I still consider that game to be one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. Seriously. So much stemmed from me playing that game. (I’ve been meaning to make a video that goes into detail about this — maybe I’ll do that next week!)
