After much pleading and imploring from the internet, Coffee Stain Studios has announced Goat Simulator is their next IP and will release to Steam later this spring. Now, the footage shown above — which was uploaded on February 3rd — has a disclaimer beneath that reads, “We’re just playing around a bit with programming stuff, this is not our next big IP, calm yourselves journalists,” BUT OH HOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED.
I can’t wait. Sure, I’ll download Goat Simulator and dink around for a few hours MAX before switching gears and playing something else, but c’mon, Simulator of the Goat Variety looks way too fun to pass up. I wonder if Coffee Stain Studios is going to keep the physics as they are, or if they’re going to tighten ’em up a bit. I friggen’ hope they keep them the same. It’s going to be like Bubble Girl but with a FUCKING GOAT. HNNNNNNNNNGH.
