Well that’s a glorious way to start my morning. Hard, yet?
Meet Arkham Knight, the “explosive finale” to the Arkham series. “We kind of feel like this is the natural end to the story,” says Rocksteady co-founder Sefton Hill. “We want to kind of go out in style.” The game will take place roughly a year after Arkham City, and will release sometime later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
GET THIS: YOU CAN DRIVE THE BATMOBILE.
The above listing was discovered by VideoGamer.com, and shortly thereafter Game Informer was all, “OKAY FINE. Check out our April cover you biznatches!” And the world did. And the world liked what it saw.
I’m stoked. I loved and played the shit out of Arkham Asylum, but I can’t let myself forget I just couldn’t finish Arkham City. I know it had its issues, but that was so long ago and I didn’t spend enough time to remember what it was that exactly turned me off. In any case, I’m more than willing to chuck my panties at a next-gen Batman game that includes the ability to drive the Batmobile, a childhood dream I’m sure most of us have held onto.
Are you excited? What, if any, changes do you think need to be made from Arkham City to make Arkham Knight as successful as possible?
I may have a boner right now and I can’t wait for all the revealing of this game that’s going to happen at E3. I really hope it delivers what the trailer promises and it’s a considerable change from the Arkham Origins/City gameplay that we’re all super familiar with. And I really hope to actually explore Gotham as has not yet been the case.
wasn’t planning on buying a next gen system, but ……… BATMAN !!!!!!
HOLY CRAP!! I’ve gotta play that!!
This game forced me to need a PS4 NOW!!!! Got one and have been playing the ever loving shit outta Watch Dogs.
