Plants Vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time

I love everything about this trailer! First of all, a game like Plants vs. Zombies can’t take itself too seriously without looking, well, dumb, so I applaud PopCap for making not only an awesome reveal trailer, but for coming up with an awesome game title. Like, BioWare should call the next installment of Dragon Age “Dragon Age III: We’ll get Alistair’s face right this time”. Yeah. That would pretty much make my entire universe.

Y’know, though, I’ve never been able to get into PvZ. I’ve tried many, MANY times and as soon as the game starts presenting any sort of challenge I throw my arms in the air and stomp off. I think Tower Defense-esque games are too stressful for me or something, and I say that because I can watch someone play a TD game for DAYS and become totally absorbed with the strategy of all of it, but as soon as the game is put in my hands I, like, age by 12 or so years. AND THE FLOWERS IN PVZ ARE JUST SO CUTE I DON’T WANT THE ZOMBIES TO EAT THEM.

Ahem. In any case, I’m excited for you PvZ fans! Now if we could only get more Peggle…
