This is VERY good news for yours truly. You see, friends, I give it a 98.3% probability that I’ll finish Breath of the Wild within the first week of having it. I can’t help but be a game-binger when it comes to HIGHLY anticipated titles. It kind of sucks, kind of doesn’t. IT’S COMPLICATED.

Anyway, this DLC is like a warm, soft blanket of insurance for my Zelda-lovin’ heart. NOW, even if I finish Breath of the Wild within a week, I’ll still have content to look forward to. That should help with the inevitable post-game completion depression I’ll undoubtedly feel. Sigh.

Apparently there’s some hubbub about the price tag of $19.99 – folks think that’s a little too steep for what’s being offered. I really can’t speak on the matter because I’m blind to any and all things Zelda. (Although I think paying for a harder difficulty is a bit…weird.) Hell, even if the DLC were $100 I’d buy it. Sure, I’d piss and moan and bitch for roughly 30 seconds, but then I’d buy it. So, I’ll ask you guys, the presumably more rational thinkers. ;) What are your thoughts on the price tag?

Duuude. Watch the video and see how many theme songs you can name. THEN LET ME KNOW HOW YOU DID OR I’LL FIND YOU AND LURK IN THE BUSHES OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME. (For the record, I didn’t recognize the NBA Jam theme, even though I played the shit out of it back in the day, and that makes me incredibly sad.)

But seriously, I found this to be quite fascinating. Like, these songs were composed and popularized before these kids (er, teenagers) were even, like, specimens growing in their mothers. So, when these young’ins DID recognize a theme song I was like “YOU SIR OR MA’AM ARE AWESOME” and such.

I love these mashups so much. So so so much.

Oh man, I recently picked up Fallout 4 again (I took about a month off because of holidays, travel, etc.) aaaand once again I’m addicted as fuck. I’ve found, though, to stay addicted I have to constantly be doing a mission. I can’t wander the wasteland like I can in Skyrim — I think it’s because I prefer fantasy settings over post-apocalyptic ones, as the nuked wasteland doesn’t provide much awe, wonder and escape for me. It looks too real, y’know?

In any case, Fallout 4 is awesome. And the more I play it, the more excited I get for the next Elder Scrolls. UMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF /humps everything
