When you put two of my favorite things together (Brad Pitt and Zombies) you can’t really go wrong — or can you?
The above clip is a “teaser” of sorts to Entertainment Tonight’s exclusive first look at World War Z this Thursday. And by the looks of it, it has absolutely nothing to do with Max Brook’s World War Z. I’m not saying it’s going to be a bad film — hell, it could turn out to be a fantastic film — but I’m left wondering WTFBBQ. One of the things I LOVED about WWZ was how the entire apocalypse, from start to finish, was told via the perspectives of different folks across the world.
Dunno if they’ll still tie that component in somehow, but either way, I can’t wait to see see first look this Thursday.
Ever since I heard they were doing the movie I was very interested. My favourite parts of the book are the more foreign parts, like the whole South Africa deal and the German’s perspective. Plus the blind Japanese dude with the shovel, who doesn’t love him?
But I also enjoy the mercenary Sean T. Collins, hired to protect the celebrities and of course I got to support my Canadian boy who discovered zombies in Afghanistan. Double cool because Princess Patricia Light Infantry are based in Edmonton…so I hope that he stays in the movie
Sean Collins was my favorite. Have you listened to the book on CD? Sooo good.
