Today ALL OF THE SONY PEOPLE delivered us the sad, agonizing yet forgivable news that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (ughhh that title does NOT bode well for Nathan Drake) has been delayed until April 26th, 2016. This isn’t TOO bad, considering the original release date was March 18th, 2016.
“This is our largest Uncharted game to date, and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game’s development in a timely manner. However, as we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line. After carefully considering all of our options, we decided to extend our schedule, making sure that we get a few more polish passes before submitting our gold master (the final disc for manufacturing).” – PlayStation Blog
No biggie, really. Plus it gives me more time to plow (heh, plow) through Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. I’ve played Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 before, but it’s been a while and I’m due for a refresher.
What say you, internet?
Uncharted are the best games ever; I replay all the titles twice a year. They’re so immersive that wearing Occulus Rift type glasses to enhance the experience for future gaming seems pointless.
