Sony finally released this HILARIOUS alternate ending to The Last of Us last Thursday. ::puffs out chest:: I was in the crowd during the original unveiling at PAX Prime and the crowd reaction was nothing less than that of pure awesomeness. Everyone was laughing with so much passion and intensity (okay, that’s a bit dramatic) that it made it hard to hear, so it’s rather splendid to have the chance to watch this again. And again. And, erm, again. I may or may not have seen this six or seven times.

Thanks for the repost, as I somehow missed this during PAX. HYS. TER. ICAL. I *finally* finished LoU a week ago — you might say I
was the “last of us” to finish it (ugh). The real ending was perfect, and
this outtake (c’mon it’s not really a different ending) is hysterical.
It’ll be interesting to see where the inevitable sequel goes.
