WOOHOO!!!
If you were a fan of the awesomesalsa GBA classics Ruby and Sapphire, then chances are you need to change your pants. It’s okay, we’ll wait right here.
We don’t know a LOT about Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, except they launch this November for the 3DS/2DS. Nintendo’s YouTube description simply states, “It’s time for a new Pokémon adventure! Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are coming to the Nintendo 3DS family of systems this November.”
This announcement comes as a bit of a spirit-raiser as Nintendo just posted a 23.2 billion yen loss (about $23 million) for the year in their latest financial report. The report also reveals the lifetime sales for the Wii U is around the 6.2 million mark. Aaaand next year’s estimates have been lowered to 3.6 million units. :/
Hopefully Smash, Mario Kart and other future software hard-hitters will sell a few more million units. I’m not expecting a 180 degree turnaround, but at this point anything helps.
Hoenn Confirmed…finally ;D
