Majora’s Mask Limited-Edition Bundle Comes With Skull Kid!

What you see above, ladies and gentlemen, is the State’s limited-edition bundle of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask for the 3DS. For $50 ($10 more than the standalone game) you’ll nab a fancy-pants Skull Kid statue and DAT SEXY BOX. While Nintendo promises it’ll launch the same day as the game, no release date has been set.

The only place I’ve been able to find pre-orders is GameStop and Amazon. Which is basically everything.

If you’re in the UK you have more options. One of which is the super spiffed out “special edition” which includes a steel book case, a Majora’s Mask pin, a double-sided poster and, of course, the game. UK retailer GAME is also offering a Majora’s Mask paperweight to those who pre-order the standard version of the game.

I *WILL* own this. I must. Majora’s Mask may not be my favorite Zelda title, but dammit I have some fond memories playing that bad boy in 7th grade with my dear friend Melissa. Do you remember Kamaro’s Mask? The one that would make Link do the crazy-ass dance? Well, she and I would trot down to the end of my parents’ driveway and, uh, do the dance. In front of cars.

Why? Why the fuck NOT is the question.

  1. This is by far my favorite game of…EVER. I squealed like a little girl when I saw we were FINALLY getting a remake…and again when the special edition was released for the US. I don’t even care that it isn’t as fancy as the UK – all that matters is we’re getting it! :D

  2. I want one too! But it went out of stock…like instantly :/ Hopefully Nintendo doesn’t troll with their supply, don’t want to have to go to eBay to get one :p

      • Update: I was able to order one from Best Buy tonight!!! I was lucky too because it only lasted in stock about thirty minutes. WOW at how limited this is, blink and you miss it.

  3. Well that’s craptastic. It only took two seconds to sell out both places! Oh well, you snooze you lose in this era of instant everything :P
