So, two days ago it was Monday.
Now, as if Mondays don’t suck already, this past Monday sucked even harder because it was the Monday after my PAX mini vacation. You know that dreadful feeling, don’t you? As lay your head to rest Sunday night, you already know what kind of shenanigans await you the next morning; an early rise out of bed, rushed morning, the hectic run/jog into the office building…
But sometimes I like to think someone is looking out for us. Someone is always there to give that little pat on your shoulder to remind you that, hey, life is fantastic!
And my proof of the aforementioned theory comes from Monday while at work. It was 9:30 in the morning and I wanted my lunch. (No, seriously, I eat my lunch that early. I’m weird.) Anyway, I ventured into the lunch room to heat up my delicious instant miso soup bowl (thank GOD for Annie Chun!) and it was there, on table, that a welcomed site awaited my tired and dried up eyeballs.
Now, for videogame magazines–let alone Game Informer– to appear in my drab office building is like finding the Triforce in Ocarina of Time. Highly fucking unlikely. But there they were, with the Dragon Age 2 issue sitting right on top. I felt like I just scored an epic garage sale haul.
^___^ I tell you, it’s the little things in life.
very cool, looks like you have a guardian angel. A guardian Angel that buys magazines. don’t burn through them too fast Mondays come around every week.
Dude, I need to know his/her name.
ok here is what you do, grab all of the magazines and watch the spot where they were. He/she will probably be like “wtf who took all my magazines.” then you spring out and glomp them…and return the magazines.
