For being the very FIRST TV advertisement, y’know, a thing that’s broadcasted to millions of peeps, one would have suspected that Microsoft would have used a more, well, gaming-centric commercial. But HEY! The public is loving it.
I mean, I get what they’re trying to do. It’s not rocket science. They want this console to appeal to the mass market as an all-in-one box of awesomeness, and what better way to show some of those features off during the beginning of football season, when a buttload of people in that target market are watching? Granted, I can’t imagine a ton of folks are thinking, ” OH MY GOD I NEED AN XBOX ONE SO I CAN WATCH FOOTBALL AND SKYPE HNNNNNNGHHHH!” and whatnot. Yeah.
In any case I’m excited to watch the next-gen console marketing push go into full-swing. I suppose this was just a cock-tease, rah?
