Well the new XBox 720 is only a mere year or two away (as well as the PS4). I think they will avoid having the circle of death on the next gen XBox. The 20 will just explode instead.

In a cruel and heartless (and I felt personal attack), my old model 360 RROD’d on the release date for Forza 4. There is no God. We didn’t speak for weeks. A chance sighting of DoDonpachi Resurrection for ten english pounds was the first step. Forza 4 for a fiver was the second. I bought a slim and you know, things are working out now. Sure, it’ll never be the same but the slim makes a nice ‘blip’ sound when you press the eject button and she’s oh so very, very quiet this time…

My last old-model Xbox started freezing in the same spot on Dead Space 2, then it wouldn’t play demos correctly. I tried DS2 and a demo at my bud’s and they worked fine. I went back and forth with Support ad they were like “we’ll set up a repair order”.

That’s when I was like “FUCK YOU, BUDDY” and just bought a “slim”. Now things are great.

In reply to Britt. I consider myself lucky although I wouldn't be upset if mine died because I kind of want one of the newer ones that I am told are a lot quieter.
