See what I did there?
To recover from last night’s escapade (and to prepare for tonight’s), I’m playing a hearty amount of Left 4 Dead and maybe later I’ll blast aliens in Resistance. I’ve got a Halloween theme going on.
Halloween in the Pacific Northwest is almost always rainy, windy and cold. When I was little, my mom would bundle me up to the point where my costume was almost unrecognizable. But man…trick-or-treating was a blast, wasn’t it?
I still can feel that utter disappointment when elderly folks would hand us apples or toothbrushes. Ugh.
As I got older and was too old to trick-or-treat but too young to party my friends and I would visit those cheesy haunted houses, pumpkin patches and watch scary movies. And now that I?m an old geezer I’m able enjoy all of the above — except I don’t think I could get away with trick-or-treating.
What trouble are all of you getting into tonight?

I SEE WHAT I DID THARE.
AND I LOOK LIKE A BABY. Also, I can’t believe it was almost three years ago that I was playing Resistance. Feels like yesterday. I never played the second one but I’ve heard I should.
Just once I’d like Halloween to be, like, warm. Admittedly it’s hard to wear those skimpy Halloween costumes when it’s practically freezing outside.
