Be A Voice In Dragon Age: Inquisition!

heavy breathing

Have you ever wanted to be a part of a Dragon Age game?! I always had, and then I banged Alistair. I SURE GOT MY PIECE OF DRAGON AGE. Schwing. (I’m sorry I’m not sorry that joke was so goddamn awful.) But seriously, if you legitimately want to be a voice in Dragon Age: Inquisition your opportunity has come. Two days ago BioWare announced they’re allowing one lucky and talented vocal-chord utilizer to appear in Dragon Age: Inquisition! HNGHHHH!

The BioWare Blog has all of the info, but in case you want to stick around and, you know, spend some time with me I’ll tell you all you need to know.

1) Download this script or this one.

2) Record your fine ass self performing. Upload the video. Send the link to takeyourplace@BioWare.com.

3) PRAY.

The contest ends on March 24, 2014 at 12:01 AM, at which time submissions will be judged by a team of qualified BioWare folk. (Scary O__O.) BioWare also notes that submissions will only be judged based on voice talent, so going all out and getting all Dragon Age-y with makeup and props won’t help your chances. (It would still look cool, though.) They also tell folks to use their natural voice, so don’t add in any fake accents!

A winner will be announced sometime after April 14th. That lucky son’bitch will be flown to a recording studio to do their thang and will also be provided with up to two nights stay! GAH! SO COOL. I wish I, like, had the talent to do this sort of thing. But I know when to back the eff off and, well, that’s what I’m going to do in this instance as much as it hurts. ;_________;

If you think you have what it takes, GOGOGO. And you should totally send me your video so I can look at it. >___<;

Disclaimer: By reading this blog post, you, the reader, agree that if you are the chosen vocal talent to participate in the Dragon Age: Inquisition recording opportunity that you will do everything in your power to convince BioWare to do a major facial reconstruction on Alistair, should he appear in DA:I. And if he doesn’t have a role in DA:I, it will be your duty to do everything in your power to ensure he has a role. If you do not know whether or not Alistair will have a role in DA:I, you must do everything in your power to find out. Kthnx.
