I wanted to share a happy memory of my childhood (related to video games, of course) and things got a bit emotional. And because I wasn’t expecting the video to turn out this way, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it after I had finished recording.
But in the end I decided to publish it, because I think it’s important for those out there who dismiss video games as nothing more than a “waste of time” to understand the profound, positive impact it has had on the hundreds of millions of us. In this case, video games provided a medium for my grandma and I to bond over, which, in turn, lead to one of my oldest, fondest memories including my grandma, grandpa and I.
My words lack detail and don’t do the memory justice, as I winged this entire video, but I hope the emotions speak for themselves. :)
