E3 2015: Legend of Zelda Triforce Heroes Announced

Well, slap me sideways and call me a stinky zora, Triforce Heroes looks like a barrel of fun.

In The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, players can work by themselves (with controllable “dolls” which sounds creepy af) or with up to two other IRL humans. Players will solve puzzles, traverse dungeons and form Link totems, which looks rad. I’ve always wanted to build a Link totem.

“I wanted players to cooperatively enjoy more serious Zelda gameplay elements, like solving puzzles and going through dungeons.” said Director Hiromasa Shikata.

Bear with me on this one, but there will also be a fashion element to the game. Depending on what outfit Link is wearing, he will be equipped with different abilities. We even saw Link rocking the shit out of Zelda’s dress, which is a thing I never knew I wanted to see before today. Link will also experience dungeons differently depending on what he’s wearing.

I’m totally down for this. Anything that mentions “co-op” and “Zelda” in the same sentence is a must-try (and a must-buy) for yours truly. We don’t know TOO much about the game, so I’m not sure if there’s a legit backstory to this or where it’d fit in with the rest of Zelda lore, but hey. It’s a Zelda game, and that’s all I need to know.

What say you?
