$2,299 for an Xbox One? O____O

i made this

I…I mean…WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE.

Okay, I consider myself to be a collector and all that jazz, and I love my Xbox One to pieces, but I still cannot comprehend that these Microsoft employee-issued Xbox One consoles are really all that and a bag of cheddar and sour cream potato chips. I suppose if you’re a die-hard Xbox fan/collector/Money Bags McGee you’d be able to justify the purchase. Do you think they’re hoping to snag these to sell for mucho profit many years down the road?

Hmmm. I’m thinking about one of my favorite consoles and the most iconic of my life, the SNES. If there were “I Made This” SNES consoles floating around from 1990, would I fork over a few grand to own one? Calculating. Calculating. Calculating. Eh, probably not. I think it would be cool to own a SNES that a member of the launch team once owned, but the thought of owning one doesn’t make my panties twist into a tight and uncomfortable bundle.

Anyway, if you’re in the market for some rare Xbox Ones, hit up this eBay page¬†and check ’em out!

That’s just insane. I’m not a multi-console gamer, so I can only approach this from the ps3 perspective. Just as a general rule I would never pay more than $600 for a game system. It’s just too much. Unless that console is going to blow me, make me breakfast, and pay my bills, I’m not going to fork out $2,300 to play a game. Not even Mass Effect.

    Maybe Mass Effect 2.

… This makes me glad I’m only dropping $240 on my 3DS tomorrow…

As long as a few handful of people who are willing to drop money down on this stuff. There will always be people taking advantage of that opportunity.

It truly does look so much sexier in white though…

Holy smokes. It’s like paying for hats in TF2. There’s not a lot of sense in it, but people do it!
